Our Cork office offers specialized architectural, engineering, construction management, and CQV services to various sectors, including life sciences: pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, novel therapies, and the animal health industries. We excel in producing flexible and innovative cGMP facilities utilizing modern design technologies for our clients across Europe.

Simon is an experienced business leader with over 25 years experience in Engineering design and consultancy working predominantly in the Water, Energy and infrastructure sectors for large ‘blue chip’ and government clients.
Simon brings global insight, a collaborative style and influence, enjoys working with people to enhance collaboration and create engagement whilst delivering the highest quality service in demanding, highly regulated and changing business environments.
Simon joined Arcadis in 2014 taking on the role of leading the Water, Power and Utilities sector, and took additional responsibility for the Environment, Safety and Industry business in early 2018.
In October 2021 Simon was appointed as Country Director for the UK & Ireland, and following many years leading the Resilience business in the UK was appointed as President of Arcadis DPS Group at the end of 2022.
Aiden has over 30 years of in-depth experience in Program Management, Project Management, Engineering and Construction for diverse capital projects within the pharmaceutical and petrochemical sectors. Projects were sited throughout Ireland, North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Pharma projects included Green and Brownfield facilities for API manufacturing and BioPharma projects. Industry facilities included aviation terminal, Power, telecommunications, and offshore oil / gas installations.
For the last 15 years, Aiden’s focus has been entirely the pharma and biopharmaceutical markets. He leads multidiscipline teams, often using a multi-office execution approach across two continents to execute work scopes including front-end study, preliminary and detailed design, construction, commissioning support, and full handover to client Operations Staff.
Art is the Operations Director for DPS Group’s office in Cork and has over 30 years’ experience in Manufacturing and Project Delivery environments.
He has successfully and safely managed large projects and regional programs from business case analysis/approval, through all stages of project execution, to handover of a fully functioning commercial asset.
Prior to joining DPS Group in 2019, Art worked extensively with GlaxoSmithKline, Jacobs and Schering Plough. During his time with GSK, Art worked as a Project Director leading a team of GSK Project Managers in the execution of a portfolio of projects across numerous Primary, Secondary, Biopharmaceutical and Consumer Health sites in the UK, mainland Europe & Ireland.As a Senior Project Manager with Jacobs, Art lead and managed multi-discipline, multi-office engineering teams in the execution of small and large capital projects up to >$250M.
Art also worked with Schering Plough as a team lead in their Biotech facility where, during a period of significant growth, established and led an engineering team to operate and maintain key production plant, utilities and critical environmental systems in an FDA/cGMP/EPA regulated environment.
Liam is a Chemical Engineer with over 30 years of engineering design and project management experience, primarily within the pharmaceutical industry, incorporating both client and consultant roles and viewpoints, and with experience in Bulk API, Secondary, Biopharmaceutical, Semiconductor, Medical Device, and other related manufacturing industries. He has a strong record of successful delivery of all client projects with a highly flexible approach and exceptional knowledge and strong adherence to quality requirements, providing project support to local, national, and international offices. Liam’s experience covers the entire project life-cycle from concept, through front-end, detailed design, and construction, to C&Q and handover.
Liam has worked with DPS for over 18 years, primarily in the role of Project Manager, and has managed a variety of project types from small studies to high-value capital projects.
Anthony has over 30 years’ experience as an Engineering Manager, Project Design Manager, and Piping Lead/Designer. Anthony has been exclusively involved in piping/project engineering design, construction, commissioning, and handover gained both in Ireland and overseas within Pharma/Bio-Tech Facilities/Chemical, Oil & Gas, and Petrochem industries. Anthony has developed an extensive engineering skillset including project scope development, schedule inputting and monitoring, budget manhours, estimating and control, detail design, contracts, specifications, and supervision in design/construction.
