DPS Advanced Technology Group today launched the DPS ATG Internship Program at our office in the Colleges of Nanoscale Science and Engineering, SUNY Polytechnic Institute, Albany. This was a unique event where staff, faculty and rising students were invited in from NYS Colleges and Universities for an Internship Program Information Event. SUNY Polytechnic, RIT, Colgate, Union College and Hudson Valley Community College were among the attendees.
On arrival, guests availed of light refreshments and a great opportunity to mingle among colleagues, peers and DPS ATG team members. VP of Operations, Kevin Fenton opened the proceedings, followed by VP of Design and Engineering, Fintan Tait. DPS ATG staff from key work streams provided information on our world class resources, demonstrated the latest innovative technologies used in every project and gave a brief insight into a 'Day in the Life' of our project teams. The presentations covered a selection of disciplines: Process Engineering; Mechanical Engineering; Electrical Engineering; 3D BIM.
It was a great opportunity for all to get an inside view of the DPS Advanced Technology Group work environment, the operation and the internship benefits. Everyone in attendance welcomed the introduction to DPS ATG. DPS ATG look forward to welcoming the first students to commence this program this summer.
